Instone Air Line acted as worldwide bloodstock general sales agent (GSA) for Flying Tigers for many years, utilising both DC8-63 and 747 freighters.

A Flying Tiger DC8 was leased by Instone Air Line to carry out bloodstock flights mostly between USA/Europe, Europe/Australia and Europe/Far East.

After Flying Tigers was taken over by Federal Express, Instone Air Services (the parent of Instone Air Line) continued to act as charter sales agents, still utilising DC8 and 747 aircraft, but also DC10 and MD11 types. Instone horse stalls are still used on both Fedex charter and scheduled service aircraft on a daily basis.
