Flying Tigers

InstoneAir acted as worldwide bloodstock general sales agent (GSA) for Flying Tigers for many years, utilising both DC8-63 and B747 freighters.

A Flying Tiger DC8 was also leased by InstoneAir to carry out bloodstock flights mostly between USA, Europe, Australia and the Far East.

After Flying Tigers was taken over by Federal Express, InstoneAir continued to act as charter sales agents, still utilising DC8 and B747 aircraft, but also DC10 and MD11 types. Instone horse stalls are still used on both Fedex charter and scheduled service aircraft on a regular basis.
