Trotters to Oslo Grand Prix
An Antonov 12 freighter aircraft was provided by InstoneAir to take 10 trotting horses from France to Oslo in Norway. Italian trained 5 year old Urlo dei Venti won the 1.3 mile race and returned to France on the same aircraft afterwards. The horses travelled in 'walk...
Middle East Flights
May was another busy month in The Middle East with horses flying within the region for racing, endurance and show jumping competitions. A variety of aircraft were used including IL76, AN12 and AN74.
Dubai World Cup
InstoneAir arranged an Airbus 300 freighter to take Ballydoyle trained horses back to Ireland after The Dubai World Cup races. UAE Derby winner Mendelssohn was on board along with 6 other Aidan O’Brien trained horses
